THE GUEST LIST, @lucyfoleyauthor
October 2020, Book 2

On a remote island off the coast of Ireland, digital website bigwig Jules and her TV personality fiancé Will are hosting their lavish wedding with their family and friends. Over the course of 48 hours, secrets are unearthed, confrontation arises, and somebody ends up dead.

This book was worth the wait. I appreciated that the author gave us a set amount of perspectives and possible suspects – there were a lot of characters introduced to us at the wedding, so having a narrowed down list of possible killers was helpful. However, you don’t know who the victim is until much later, which makes it all the more interesting.

This was such a fun read! I haven’t read many whodunit type books, so this was a great intro to the genre. While some pieces of the puzzle felt a little predictable, there was never a dull moment – I couldn’t put it down. Foley’s way of writing really keeps you at the edge of your seat. Even if you don’t vibe with the story, you can’t deny it’ll keep you entertained.

Also, who doesn’t love watching rich people get messy and turn on each other? 🙋🏻‍♀️
