The moment I saw “Mexican Gothic” and “Sabrina & Corina” sitting together on my bookshelf, I knew which palettes to use to create these looks: the Amor Eterno collection by @meltcosmetics

Melt Cosmetics is the only brand whose packaging I will openly lust after. In addition to being a Latina owned brand, their collections are not only unique but also beautiful and thoughtful. This particular collection was created to celebrate the Mexican heritage of Melt’s founder, and it’s without a doubt the most perfect collection I’ve ever seen – the artwork, color stories, and quality are only uplifted by her pride and love of her culture. ❤️

Each palette is called, respectively, Vida☀️ and Muerte 💀 Vida was used to create my “Sabrina & Corina” look, inspired by the resilience of @kalimaja ‘s characters. Muerte was used to create the “Mexican Gothic” look, to represent death in The High Place.

Palette design by @arte_de_gustavo__ . I actually bought the print of this from his website and it’s hanging near my vanity, I love it so much!
